My Back-
ground
My coaching work is grounded in more than 25 years in professional services – including nearly two decades at Boston Consulting Group, where I worked with large corporations across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
For six years I led BCG’s Industrial Goods practice in Central Europe, the Middle East and Africa. For three years I served as People Chair for the same region – responsible for senior talent development, key people decisions, and diversity and inclusion. In that role I worked closely with many of the dynamics that my coaching clients navigate today: how people are evaluated, how careers are shaped, and how the leadership fabric of an organization really works.
I know the corporate world from the inside. That shapes how I work: I listen carefully and empathetically, and I also bring my own experience and perspective to the conversation. When it is useful, I offer direct advice. My goal is to engage with your reality as it is – and to be honest about what I see.
Beyond
Work
I live in Bavaria with my wife Sarah – a therapist and coach herself, which makes for interesting dinner conversations – and our three teenage sons. When I am not coaching, I am most likely on a bike, on a mountain, or on a sailboat. Or working my way through a classic novel. Or both.
